Recently my wife and I took our two boys to the heritage loch in East Kilbride to take my son’s new remote control boat for a spin.  Someone stopped me to discuss homelessness and what they can do to help someone they knew who was homeless.  I was able to share my own story and my belief that, with support and opportunities, we can make a massive difference to a generation who often may feel they do not have any opportunities.  I know just how fortunate I am to share my story and that this coming May, we can make a difference to the Scottish Parliament and elect a different voice with experiences that have not been shared before.
